The Electron Microscopy Facility is part of the shared facilities at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Oeiras, Portugal. We specialize in Transmission Electron Microscopy on biological samples.
The Electron Microscopy Facility aims to provide centralized, high-quality electron microscopy services, training and access to high quality instruments for all researchers at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and within the Portuguese Research Community. The Electron Microscopy Facility is open to any and all scientists and we particularly welcome collaborations from the Portuguese scientific community to develop and improve techniques and overall knowledge concerning electron microscopy.
This website provides information about the facility equipment, the technical staff, and our projects.
