The Electron Microscopy Facility is part of the shared facilities at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, located in Oeiras, Portugal. We specialize in Transmission Electron Microscopy on biological samples.
The Electron Microscopy Facility aims to provide centralized, high-quality electron microscopy services, training and access to specialized instruments for all researchers at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and within the Portuguese Research Community. The Electron Microscopy Facility is open to any and all scientists. We particularly welcome collaborations from the Portuguese scientific community to develop and improve the application of electron microscopy techniques as well as enhance the overall technical knowledge about electron microscopy.
